Rock Fantasy will celebrate the newly enlarged shop on the weekend of April 20th and 21st with door prizes, live musical guests and glass blowing demonstrations & it’s also record store day! If you have not heard the shop recently took over the vacant storefront next door. We have added a large pinball showroom with games for sale and to play. Also the smoke shop has been enlarged and we now have much more used and new vinyl!

Guitarist Alex Kates will be performing in the store on Saturday and Sunday. Alex Kates is a guitarist-singer-songwriter from Jamestown, New York. After 25 years of guitar playing, performing, and songwriting, his style has developed into a blues/folk/reggae/rock infused creation of its own. Alex has performed on street corners in San Fransisco, bars and clubs in the Northeast, and numerous stages in between. He’s traveled with his guitar through 48 states, and the road has never stopped calling his name. www.alexkates.net also appearing local talent from Anthony Menella on Saturday and Gregg Woods on Sunday.

Rock Fantasy Concert Shop is proud to be running the Allentown Pinfest tournament this year at the Allentown Fairgrounds in Allentown, Pennsylvania. The tournaments will carry IFPA points and on Friday we will kick things off with a classics match play tournament starting at 2pm with a one time $15 entry fee. On Saturday we will have a PAPA style tournament with qualifying starting at 11am. $6 entry fee per qualifying attempt for Saturday – separate admission is required to the Pinfest convention. The convention features up too 200 games on free play, pinball vendors, and an outdoor swap meet. For more information, visit www.pinfestival.com

DETAILS – FRIDAY registration opens at 12 noon, registration closes at 130 pm match play tourney begins at 2pm. Only on classic games no dmds, fee is 15.00. 630pm lockdown and finals tourney ends at 8pm. More details! Players must find open games in free play area, first player has choice of order or game, fourth player has second choice. Drain extra balls, cash prizes top eight.

DETAILS – Saturday tournament starts at 11am, last game at 6pm. Six dollar per qualifying attempt, qualifying on a bank of 5 games. Top eight make finals – A die will choose game. Finals will be 8 players to 6 to 4 to 2 to winner.

The Rock Fantasy Concert Shop in Middletown NY is hosting the Stern IFPA NY Avengers Launch Party. Qualification for the tournament is from noon to 5PM, with the top 16 making the final playoffs. The cost is $5 per qualifying attempt.

In addition, Rock Fantasy will also be simultaneously hosting an Orange County Pinball Club Tournament. Qualifying will run from 1PM to 7PM with the top twelve going head to head after that.

Finally, this event will mark the debut of a 600 square foot addition that will have 25 to 30 pinball games!

On Saturday, January 26th 2013 – Rock Fantasy will hold an IFPA Pinball Open starting at 11am.

$5 Per entry, qualifying on 5 games. Top 16 make the playoffs – Hope to see everyone there!

On Saturday, November 10 2012, Rock Fantasy will be hosting a Stern Pinball Launch Party on their new game – X-Men!

This tournament will be for IFPA points. First entry is 12 noon, last entry 6:00pm top 8 qualifiers move on to the finals starting at 7:00pm.

There will also be a OCPC hosted tournament during the day as well!

This Saturday, June 30th is Rock Fantasy night at the Orange County Speedway in Middletown, New York! Come on our for some racing and hang out with the Rock Fantasy crew!
